Christ Is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
The Gospel is the good news of God's love revealed through Jesus Christ.
Through him, we find forgiveness, truth, reconciliation with God, and the promise of eternal life.
At THE ROCK EKKLESIA, we believe the Gospel begins and ends with Christ. He is the foundation, the message, and the way by which people are brought back to God.
From the beginning, humanity was created to know God, walk with him, and live according to his purpose. Yet through sin, people became separated from God and unable to restore that relationship through their own efforts.
Because of his love, God sent Jesus Christ into the world to reveal his truth, call people to repentance, and provide the way for reconciliation.
The Gospel is God's invitation for every person to turn toward him, trust in Christ, and receive the life he offers.
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
Jesus Christ declared:
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Christ is not merely a teacher, prophet, or historical figure. He is the Son of God who came to reveal the Father, proclaim the Kingdom of God, and call people into a new life through faith and obedience.
Everything we believe, teach, and proclaim is built upon him.
Throughout his ministry, Christ consistently called people to follow him.
His invitation was not simply to gain knowledge but to experience transformation through surrender, faith, and obedience.
Christ calls people to:
- Hear his words
- Repent and turn from the old way of life
- Trust in God completely
- Take up the cross
- Follow him faithfully
- Love God and love others
The Gospel is a call to discipleship, where lives are changed through a relationship with Christ.
No one can earn salvation through good works, religious activity, or personal effort.
God offers grace freely through Christ. When people place their trust in him, they receive forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternal fellowship with God.
Through the work of the Holy Spirit, hearts are renewed, faith is strengthened, and believers are empowered to live according to God's purpose.
The message of Christ does more than provide hope for eternity. It transforms life today.
As people follow Christ and apply his teachings:
